Equal Access to Justice in the Euromed Region

Report from the conference at the Faculty of Law, Uppsala University, 27-28 April 2001 (Published by Uppsala University, 2002). The report summarizes the Conference on Equal Access to Justice in the Euro-Mediterranean Region that took place at the Faculty of Law of Upssala University, Sweden in April 2002. The conference fostered a momentum for dialogue between main actors in the region (governments, academics and civil society representatives) on issues related to good governance, the rule of law, transparency and justice in the Mediterranean. These issues are regarded as priority in the Barcelona process and they are an explicit or implicit part of the development of an EU regional justice and home affairs program.
