Becoming Member of the EMHRN
If your organisation wishes to apply for membership, the following documents should be sent to the Secretariat:
Regular or Associate Membership:
· Letter of motivation to join the EMHRN
· Copy of your Statutes in French or English as much as possible
· Declaration stating that the applicant accepts and complies the Statutes of the EMHRN and is willing to co-operate with its members
· Letters of recommendation signed by at least two Regular Member of the EMHRN
· Material related to the activities of your organisation:
- Letter stating that your organisation has an activity consistent with the aims of the EMHRN and that you will inform us of the organisations’ activities on a regular basis
- Narrative Report of main fields of activities over the past two years (max 2 pages)
- List of members of board (including when they were elected)
- List of eventual publications (past 2 years)
- List of meetings/ seminars/ conferences/ events (past 2 years)
- Latest Annual Report of activities ( if available, if not please indicate why)
- Latest Financial Report published (if available, if not please indicate why)
Once your application is complete, it will undergo an initial review by the Executive Committee at their forthcoming meeting. You will then be informed whether your organisation has been accepted – in which case, the membership will be ratified at the forthcoming General Assembly.
The executive committee may decide that an organisation whose membership application has been received favourably can be involved in all or part of the activities of the EMHRN, in the expectation that it will be admitted by the General Assembly.
